Occasional retreats give us many vital opportunities - De-stress, "get away from it ALL", turn our attention to ourself and our yoga practice. Think of a retreat as Extreme Self Care, a necessity to counter our stressful lifestyle - a time to relax, rejuvenate, & restore.

Join us for a Chair Yoga practice, with focus on releasing tension from your body to open your lungs for more complete breathing. We'll also explore using breath as a mindfulness tool.

SUPPER & STRETCH Walking Yoga
Tuesday, October 6, 5:30 – 7:00 pm
Shalom Spirituality Center, 1001 Davis Street
Presenter: Deb May, Certified Yoga Instructor
We’ll do a few Yoga poses to center and stretch, then a short walk during which we will apply yoga techniques to help us become more aware, more grateful and stronger. After the walk, a nutritious supper will be waiting for us in the Shalom dining room.
